The greatest thing about this time of the year is definitely the leaves - we have several trees on our property in the back yard with the most gorgeous brilliant red, yellow and orange leaves. In the front yard, we have a very large Mulberry tree - and what this tree lacks in brilliance of color it makes up for in shear quantity. The main benefactors are the kids who love making piles and jumping in them.

Poor Jonathan has his work cut out for him over the next couple of months as this tree
continuously drops its leaves - fortunately he loves playing in the leaves too. The best childhood fall activity ever!

(Believe it our not it was actually less than 75 degrees one day a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully we'll be seeing more hats and gloves as winter draws near.)
