Joseph conquers his fears

There are 4 of them, they wear red, yellow, blue and purple, they have accents, dance and sing and they are very SCARY ... well ... at least according to Joseph. Any guesses? Well most adults might think 4 men dancing around like goofballs are a bit annoying and maybe a little scary, but to most preschoolers and toddlers, "The Wiggles" are a big hit. Clearly this is not the case with Joseph as he covers his head under his horsie after trying to wrestle out of my arms when he realized The Wiggles video was coming on. I knew they weren't scary, and because he seems to be afraid of the idea of any video other than his favorite, "BOZ," I decided to make him snuggle with me and face his fears (knowing that they were completely harmless of course). Slowly but surely he warmed up and after about 15 mins. of watching he was ready to get up and start dancing along with them. While I'm glad he conquered his fear, I'm not completely convinced that not being afraid of the Wiggles is really a good thing ;)
