Kayaking on Lake Natoma - Father's Day

On Father's Day we decided to do something that dad loves to do - be outdoors and be active. So we took the kids out kayaking on Lake Natoma. We were ready to venture out in the kayaks again since the last time when we tried to squeeze all 4 of us into only one of our kayaks (not the best plan). This time things went much smoother. Now that Joseph is old enough everyone enjoyed the trip on the water.
We like to paddle to a little inlet area where the water is shallow enough to walk several feet from the shore. The shore was muddy so the kids had a blast building mud castles. Joseph mostly loved finding rocks and splashing them into the water.

It was a great morning!
